Meridian is a city builder where your city's treasury is also your trading account.

Start with a highway and an empty valley. Lay roads, zone homes, shops and industry, and keep the power and water flowing as your town grows into a metropolis. Then put your budget to work: buy shares in local companies (some of them grow with your city), lock in bond yields, build a property empire with mortgages, stake crypto, or hand money to a fund manager.

Build

  • Zone residential, commercial and industrial land and watch buildings grow from houses to towers
  • Power, water, police, fire, clinics, schools and parks, each with real coverage
  • Real traffic: every trip is routed. Roads, avenues, one-ways, roundabouts, highways, ramps and overpasses
  • Milestones unlock new buildings, and an annual report grades your year as mayor

Invest

  • 8 fictional companies plus an index fund, with earnings reports, dividends and surprise events
  • Bonds that really fall when interest rates rise, set by a central bank that meets every 45 days
  • Individual rental properties with 30-year mortgages, vacancies and renovations
  • Crypto with staking, a stablecoin, and DeFi yield farms (which can get hacked)
  • Margin, short selling, stop-losses, take-profits, buy-the-dip orders and recurring investments
  • Five fund managers with published track records, including a "2 and 20" hedge fund
  • Insider tips… and a Securities Commission that might catch you

Also

  • Sandbox mode, adjustable starting cash, and a notification center you control
  • Plays on desktop and phones. Autosaves in your browser, with save export/import

Controls: drag to build · scroll or pinch to zoom · right-drag, WASD or two fingers to pan · Space pauses · N notifications · F fullscreen

All companies, coins and markets in Meridian are fictional. Nothing in the game is financial advice.
